Why do people invest overseas

In the survey published by Savills research and holiday-rentals.co.uk, the number one reason for people buying overseas property was for investment purposes. 53% of those questioned said that the rental potential of the property is the single biggest consideration, although in aggregate, factors that determine capital growth dominate overall. Proximity to the sea or scenic location are the two most important consideration in terms of the location.
