Oppenheim: Flats more expensive next year
ZAGREB – “Prices of flats will not fall”, head of Ingra, Croatia's leading construction company, Igor Oppenheim believes. On the contrary, he expects further increase in real estate prices due to expensive land and numerous fees charged. Tighter crediting conditions could cause delays in construction, he added, along with significant decrease in supply on real estate market. The percentage land prices have in the total costs reached 30%. However, building land is expected to become cheaper next year which might be an upside for construction companies which already feel consequences of the global downturn.
