Inflation in Croatia lower than in the region
Although Croatia is facing the growing inflation, it is still lower than in most transition countries, says Croatian National Bank (CNB) vice governor Boris Vujcic. On Friday he will be moderating the discussion on prospects of future inflation trends, a part of the 14th Dubrovnik economic conference. Participants of the CNB’s conference will also deal with the current situation in Croatia’s and global banking systems, structural and regulatory reforms in Europe, their impact on competitiveness and economic growth. Speaking about structural reforms that can raise productivity, Vujcic stressed the areas of market regulation, productivity and labor market, structural fiscal policies, and branch policies.
