Banks earned HRK 3.97 billion


At the end of September 2008, net profit of banks amounted to HRK 3.97 billion, which is by 26.84 percent more compared with the same period last year, the Croatian National Bank (CNB) reports. Net fees and commissions income was up 10.45 percent, from HRK 2.01 to 2.22 billion. Net interest income was up 19.43 percent, from HRK 6.28 to HRK 7.50 billion.
