Croatian real estate market turns down
ZAGREB – Real estate prices in Croatia dropped at monthly level with tendency for further decline towards year-end, Centar Nekretnina reports. However, at annual level, real estate prices grew 2.6% in October. Domenico Devescovi, head of CentarNekretnina.net, said deceleration on real estate market is very likely. Already, flat prices in Zagreb declined 1.2% m/m or 0.9% y/y to EUR 2.021/m2. The end of 2006 marked a steep increase on housing market, followed by deceleration and decrease towards the end of last year. On the Adriatic coast, 6.1% growth in housing prices was recorded to the average of EUR 2,038/m2.
